MAKING YOUR USSV CHARITABLE
FUND
DONATIONS USING PAYPAL
A USSVCF guide from Art Randall
We are pleased to announce that you
may now make your USSV Charitable Fund (CF) donations via PayPal.
If you are not aware of PayPal, it is
a company owned by e-Bay through which 20,000,000 people make charitable
donations and/or pay for goods and services that they have purchased from
thousands of vendors and other organizations, using either their credit
card and/or bank.
Since PayPal is e-mail address driven,
you may make payments wherever you see the PayPal logo to any e-mail address
that has registered with PayPal (as USSVCF has done).
In order to use PayPal you must be a
Registered Payer.
You Register by completing a Registration
Form entering your name, e-mail address, credit card or cards you wish
to use (American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa) and/or your Bank,
(from which, the payment for your goods, services and/or charitable donations
will be drawn) and your personal password for security purposes. It will
take less than two minutes and will cost you nothing to use or set up and
you are under no obligation to use it at all after you register.
To register go to https://www.paypal.com
and click on "Sign up for Your Free PayPal Account!" and complete
the registration form.
| Webmaster Note:
When you log in to your PayPal account,
be sure that the website's URL always begins with "https://www.paypal.com/".
The "s" in "https" at the beginning of the URL means
you are logging into a secure page.
If the URL does not begin with https,
you might not be on a PayPal page.
PROTECT YOUR PASSWORD
NEVER give your password to anyone and
ONLY log in at https://www.paypal.com/.
Protect yourself against fraudulent websites by checking the URL/Address
bar every time you log in.

Once registered, any time you wish to
use PayPal to make a CF donation, go to http://www.ussvcf.org
and click on the Charitable Fund to which you wish to make your donation.
When you arrive at your Fund of choice,
scroll down and click on the PayPal logo.
That will take you to the USSVCF PayPal
page showing the name of the USSV Caritable Fund you just selected. This
removes any requirement for remembering or writing down CF Fund e-mail
addresses.
Then all you do is enter your password,
the amount of money you wish to donate and the credit card(s) you which
wish to use.
You may also enter any comments you
wish communicated to USSVI regarding the transaction into the form textbox
provided.
When you are satisfied with your entry
and the amount shown, click on the "PAY" button and your donation
will be sent to the USSVI Charitable Foundation fund you specified.
It is as easy as that --- taking less
than a minute.
