On 3 February 2004 a member of USSVI suffered the loss of his home and contents by fire.

The owner, a USSVI member, was a patient in serious condition from the affects of smoke inhalation. He and his wife are now living in a furnished apartment until other arrangements can be made.

The USSV CF Board of Directors took this situation under consideration and voted to donate the sum of $500.00 frm the Brotherhood Fund to help him through this disaster.

The Brotherhood Fund would like to continue to provide these types of donations, but can only do so with the generous support from the members of USSVI.
